FERMENTED RICE WATER FOR HAIR
Saturday, January 07, 2017
I have been seeing the rice water
rinse being associated to hair growth in a lot of YouTube and BBM channels and
I couldn’t understand the science behind it. At first I was confused, how can
rice water help my hair? And that led me to do more research on the benefits of
Rice water for hair.
Somewhere in the Guangxi province
in southern china, the women of Huanglo village have been recognized by the Guinness
book of World record as the world’s longest hair village. Their hair grows up
to an average of 1.7 meters which is approximately 66.9 inches and they have no grey hair till the age of 80. (you might want to google them now)
According to the
Yao women of Huanglo, the secret to their long hair lies in Fermented rice water. Washing the hair with fermented
rice water brings more than just shine to your hair. It makes the hair strong and healthy.
Fermented
rice water is rice water that has gone slightly sour. It is a milky liquid left after
washing rice which you can use for taking care of skin and hair. It is obtained
from draining boiled/raw rice or by boiling rice until it completely dissolves
into the water.
