Late last year, my friend invited me to her birthday party. I was in cornrows and I didn’t know what to do, I thought of wearing a simple wig or styling my natural hair but I didn’t really feel like doing any of them.

So I thought of making a fro crochet wig, I mean we all want to stand out and I didn’t want to wear my natural hair cos I knew everyone natural was going to be in a puff, twistout, bantu knot and co. Well that’s how I proceeded to making a huge ass fro wig on the morning of the event.

I didn’t remember to document it when I started but halfway I started taking pictures. This is going to be another pictorial on how to make a huge fro wig for an occasion...oh and it doesn’t take time.

Here's what you'll need

• Kinky extension
• Crochet wig cap
• Crochet needle
• Styrofoam head

When you get to stage 4, cut and style as desired. This is really easy and you will be done in less than 2 hours.

I know we all want our natural hair to grow into a massive fro but that doesn’t stop us from faking it. Hence fake it till you make it.
